For Farmers: Getting Started
Registration & Verification
- Sign up with your phone number and email
- Provide farm details and location (county, sub-county)
- Upload ID verification and farm photos
- Wait 24-48 hours for verification approval
Creating Your First Listing
- Select crop type and variety from our database
- Enter quantity, unit (bags, kg, crates), and quality grade
- Upload clear photos showing produce quality
- Set starting price per unit and expected harvest date
- Specify expected harvest/availability date
For Buyers: Getting Started
Registration & Verification
- Create account with business details
- Provide business registration documents (optional for individuals)
- Subscribe to ZaoHub with KSh 10,000 annual subscription fee (required to make purchases)
- Get verified within 24 hours
Making Your First Purchase
- Browse active listings by crop type, location, or harvest date
- Review photos, quality specs, and farmer ratings
- Select quantity and calculate total amount
- Complete purchase with Co-operative Bank payment
- Track your purchase and coordinate delivery
